This vessel was built in 1965 at the N.V. Scheepswerven in Millingen, Holland, and was called Maasbank. In September 1977 it was renamed Banckert. The Maasbank served for 12 years in the Western part of Holland. It had a length of 32.75m, breadth of 7.85m and draught of 3.40m. The engine yields 1800 hp.
This kit features a preformed ABS plastic hull and deck, with wooden superstructure parts laser-cut for accuracy. It also includes hull and deck fittings in brass and/or plastic, ramin wood mast, rigging cord in various sizes, propshafts, rudders and propellers. It includes full-size plan sheets and an instruction manual with English text.
