The San Juan Nepomuceno represents a 2700 ton vessel with 74 cannons, built at the Royal Shipyard in Guazimo (Santander) and Launched in 1765. Her Sister ships the San Pascal, the Asis , the San Lorenzo, the Santa Domingo & the San Agustin were also built in this period.
This beautiful Artesania Latina kit features plank on bulkhead construction with pre-cut frames, walnut planking, masts, and keel. Moulded formers ensure proper bow and stern shape. Rigging fittings are plentiful in a variety of fine hardwoods, white metal, bronzed cast metal, and brass. Cotton sail material, pre-printed flags, and several diameters of running and standing rigging are all included. Three sheets of plans and a pictorial guide that goes with the detailed instruction book will help you to complete this model.
