The Billings 1/75 Norske Love wooden ship model is an accurate recreation of the real life three-masted warship launched in 1765.
The Norske Love, with a crew of 402, displacement of 1,076 tons and a length of nearly 49m, was originally named after the Norwegian/Danish coat-of-arms, and was renamed the Oresund in 1772. The vessel was used as a guardboat in the Oresund and other coastal waters around Denmark. The ship was deleted from the naval register in 1798.
This kit features plank on frame construction, laser cut plywood keel and frame components, wooden superstructure and decks, hull and deck fittings in wood, brass and plastic, mast and spars, rigging cord in various sizes and printed sails. It includes full-size plan sheets and an instruction manual with English text.
